Users must first stop the sync on existing folders they are syncing to their local PC. This will not affect their privileges or access to the shared files. They will then need to re-sync from the appropriate page on the OneDrive website.

 

  1. Stop syncing in the OneDrive app on the local PC.

 

  1. Go to the OneDrive webpage and navigate to the file or folder you wish to sync to your local PC. Click the “Sync” button. Once successful, the files are once again available locally.
